Brevoort Park
3545 Indianola Ave, Columbus, OH 43214, USA
The Pollinator Garden in Brevoort Park is a project of the Clintonville Green Team (a committee of the Clintonville Area Commission) and was created with support from Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed (FLOW), Columbus Audubon, and Wild Ones Columbus. It is a 0.007 acre triangular garden, located in the northwest corner of this city park and serves as a rich resource for pollinators, neighbors & visitors of the park. This site, formerly compacted soil and turf grass, was transformed in May 2024. The garden has thrived since then, boasting over 30 species of native plants providing pollinator resources during every season. Its location makes it accessible to all who visit or drive past the public park, just off a major corridor linking the suburban area to downtown Columbus. Signage in the garden provides information about the plants and explanations about the critical role played by pollinators in our world.
