Butterfly Buddies of OCNJ, Wesley Shores Memorial Garden, Monarch Butterfly Waystation

OCEC, the City of Ocean City, the Ocean City High School’s Student Environmental Association (SEA), and Discovery World Preschool partnered in this project to create a pollinator waystation and includes host plants for the Monarch. In addition to educating our young preschoolers about the role of butterflies, bees and insects, the children took ownership of this project by planting and maintaining the garden, adding their own little touch with a few adorable bunny statues.
