Our pollinator garden , created in 2024, was made to accompany our community garden that is established across the park. With 7 beds, we mostly native species, some nativars , and a few non native pollinator plants. Water mitigation challenges due to storm surge have encourgaed us to look at this garden from a multi layered approach.
Pycnanthemum muticum, coreopsis, phlox paniculata, Asclepias tuberosa, joe pye weed , stokesia, echinacea , beauty berry shrubs, yarrow, Rudbeckia maxima, rudbeckia goldstrum, goldenrod, Penstemon digitalis, and hoary skullcap.
