City Center Plaza
555 110th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98004, USA
City Center Plaza has created a vibrant new landscape celebrating the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest while supporting ecological health and community well-being. Native species include Acer circinatum (vine maple), Cornus sericea (red osier dogwood), and Achillea millefolium (yarrow) to help support local pollinators and birds.
Pedestrian pathways and seating areas are thoughtfully integrated among the planting beds, providing places for visitors to relax and connect with nature. These elements create a resilient, restorative environment that enhances biodiversity and creates a pathway for pollinators.
The garden located adjacent to City Center Plaza Class A office building which is a LEED Gold certified is an extension of the project’s and its ownership CommonWealth Partner’s commitment to sustainability beyond the building envelope. The newly re-landscaped portion of the overall 2.6 acre site creates a cohesive environment supporting local biodiversity, helps reduce urban heat island effects, and fosters occupant and community well-being.
