My garden is along a storm drain ravine behind the homes on my street. My personal garden area is 80% native plants. My personal garden area was started in 2017. In 2020 my neighbor and I started a garden along a school path 7 houses down from me that crosses over the ravine, and then in 2021 my brother and I started to connect my garden to that school path garden.
In 2023 I co-founded a garden co-op that is installing gardens around our little city of Lemon Grove, CA. I'd eventually like to have those show.
