Dothan Brook Elementary School

A long rectangular area on the grounds of Dothan Brook Elementary School running adjacent to the Connecticut River Greenway bike trail. Planted by Creating Habitats for Pollinators (CHP) in Fall 2025 with volunteer help from Dartmouth College students and teachers at Dothan Brook. Additional support was provided by Dartmouth College's Class of '89 Pollinator Project. This planting builds upon earlier plantings at Dothan Brook from Spring 2023 in their organic garden and adjacent to their playground.
A seed mix of more than 50 species of pollinator-friendly wildflowers. The mix is comprised of 75% native perennials/biennials and 25% annual wildflowers. CHP uses annual wildflowers as a cover crop while the native plants get established.
