My Garden in Little Compton

Tucked away in a quiet corner of Little Compton, my garden has flourished into something truly special this season. It’s been an epic year for a wide variety of perennials, each bloom bringing a sense of calm and reward throughout the months.

The garden has become a natural welcome mat for butterflies and bees, offering both beauty and nourishment. Watching the flowers grow and thrive has been deeply satisfying — a reminder of the quiet joy found in tending to nature.

Every day, monarchs, butterflies, and bees make their visits, fluttering from bloom to bloom. Most exciting of all, the monarch caterpillars have arrived, feasting on the milkweed — a sure sign that the cycle of life continues right here in the heart of the garden.
