Have taken a highly landscaped and chemically treated lawn area returning it to a more natural state populated with a wide variety of native ground covers. Surrounding gardens planted with wide variety of perrennial shrubs and flowers that bloom throughout the seasons. Removed all invasive plants (e.g. burning bush, Japanese angelica, porcelain berry, Japanese barberry, etc.) from wooded areas of property replacing with native trees and shrubs.
Trees: Sugar maple, pin oak, fringe tree, Eastern redbud, flowering dogwood, red-osier dogwood, black cherry, paw paw, chestnut oak, serviceberry, persimmon, tulip tree, black birch.
Shrubs: Witch hazel, viburnum, mountain laurel, winterberry, highbush blueberry, bayberry, Virginia rose, New Jersey Tea, American beautyberry, elderberry, spiraea.
