Les Schwab Native Garden

The Les Schwab Native Garden is a community demonstration garden that showcases the beauty and ecological value of California native plants. Established in 2012, the garden is part of Martinez's volunteer-led Alhambra Native Plant Trail, a growing network of native landscapes that follows the local creek corridor and provides connected habitat for bees, butterflies, birds, and other wildlife. Designed to educate and inspire, the garden highlights native species that thrive in the East Bay while encouraging residents to incorporate pollinator-friendly plants into their own landscapes.
