Small decorative gardens, with several pollinator beds. Large seasonal vegetable garden. Property is tree lined with native species. We're trying to control the buckthorn!!!
Echinacea, elder, oaks, lots of native grasses, hawthorn, cedar, pine, milkweed (several variety), golden rod, black eyed Susie, daisey, yarrow, lupine., etc. We are planning to plant more native shrubs and wildflowers. I did have two large beautiful native wild flower gardens planted over the leech fields, but grass overtop it. and we have to start over but it’s a lot of work! We’re older and enjoy gardening, but also getting a bit tired of the work. 😊
