Monarch Recovery Project NYC Strip

This strip, is protected from mowing by the Monarch Recovery Project NYC after a fence was installed for them by NYC Parks. In 2026, the project planted a pollinator garden, alongside the Common Milkweed, along with signage. There are Monarch butterflies utilizing the space, along with many other native insects inclusing other butterflies, bees and moths. It's along a publie walking and bike path to be enjoyed by anyone passing!
