This garden was planted on September 18, 2024.
The Division of Parks and Open Space sourced and purchased 30+ native plants and installed them alongside Ms Haese and some garden-curious kiddos from RED!
Several classes are planning to visit the garden so the students can learn about native plants and their benefits to the local ecosystem.
The Runkle Green Group – a collection of parent volunteers – has been watering the garden and will continue its maintenance going forward.
