The SPCA of Hancock County has installed a pollinator garden in the front of their building. After removing old shrubs, more than 2 dozen native Maine plant species have been installed in two borders on either side of the entryway.
We have at least 2 dozen native varieties including green headed coneflower, purple coneflower, sedum, red osier dog wood, black eyed Susan, great blue lobelia, and sweet fern.
