The Pollinator Garden at Spear and Guinea rd.

This mowed corner is on private property on the corner of Spear st and Guinea rd in East Charlotte. A frequent resting spot for cyclists, runners, and walkers; this corner also served as a location to drop off “free” items. In 2022, Myra Handy advocated for a garden and community donations came through with plants, manure, and labor to install this 600 sq foot pollinator habitat. Support for this garden included a financial donation from the Pomerleau Foundation.
