Ward Acres Community Garden

The Ward Acres Community Garden is located within Ward Acres Park. This is a 62 acre biodiversity preserve with woodlands, fields, trails, a tree nursery and a dog park.

We plant native, flowering plants around the Community Garden to attract pollinators. They in turn to improve our produce yeild while beautifing our garden.

We have a variety of native plants that attract pollinators including : Milkweed (Asclepias spp.): Crucial for Monarch butterflies,.Bee Balm (Monarda spp.) Goldenrod (Solidago spp. and Aster (Symphyotrichum spp.):
