Welcome to the Weymouth Pollinator Pathway

The Weymouth Garden Club Beautification Committee chose the Weymouth DPW front lawn for our pollinator friendly garden. The large open space (40' x 176) between a parking lot and busy road offers potential for creating a pollinator-friendly habitat. We selected plants that thrive in full sun, dry soil, and wind, offering flowers and berries to attract bees, birds, and butterflies.

The final design includes two oval garden beds (20' x 7-10), a shade tree, flowering shrubs, and perennials.  A retention pond across the street provides water for pollinators.
